Ratings: AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Slips This Week

Sunday’s “The Walking Dead” was a ratings monster by any reasonable standard. It was the night’s #1 non-sports program on all of television and #1 show of any kind on cable television.

It did, however, suffer week-to-week declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Per Nielsen cable data, Sunday’s episode drew a 6.19 adults 18-49 rating with 12.440 million total, live+same-day viewers.

Both numbers trail those of the previous telecast, which drew a 6.73 with 13.339 million. They nonetheless top the season lows (6.17, 12.183 million) posted by the October 18 episode.

Sunday’s “TWD” led into “Talking Dead,” which drew a 2.46 with 4.935 million. It bested the previous week’s edition, which scored a 2.32 and reached 4.639 million audience members.
