Sunday’s “Quantico” suffered substantial losses in terms of live+same-day ratings and viewership, but Nielsen’s latest Live+7 report will help ease some of the sting.
The report, which covers the October 12-18 broadcast week, confirms that the ABC drama again generated a significant level of time-shifted viewing.
The October 18 episode of “Quantico,” which drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating and 5.299 million viewers on a live+same-day basis, posted a 3.2 with 9.888 million in the live+7 report.
Thanks to time-shifted viewing, “Quantico” thus received a 100% increase in adults 18-49 and an 87% increase in total viewership during the seven days following its initial broadcast.
On a percentage basis, the 100% adults 18-49 gain ties as broadcast television’s second-greatest (behind “The Blacklist,” +114%, and even with “Jane The Virgin”) for the relevant broadcast week. The 87% viewership gain was broadcast television’s greatest.
