Demi Lovato’s “Confident” Single Enjoyed 127% Sales Gain, Total Now 129.5K

In conjunction with growing airplay and the release of her new album, Demi Lovato’s “Confident” enjoyed a significant sales boost during the October 16-22 tracking week.

According to Nielsen Music, the second single — and title track — from Lovato’s new album sold 47,885 copies during the official tracking period. That bests the previous week’s mark by a whopping 127%.

It also brings the single’s cumulative US sales total to 129,515.

“Confident” this week reached the Top 20 at pop radio and Top 40 at hot adult contemporary radio. It is the follow-up to “Cool For The Summer,” which reached the Top 5 and Top 15 at those respective formats.
