Thanks to growing airplay, release week exposure, and buzz stemming from the release of the “Revival” album, Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” enjoyed a significant sales boost during the October 9-15 tracking week.

According to Nielsen Music, “Same Old Love” sold approximately 58,000 US copies during that seven-day period. Up a healthy 60% from the previous week’s tally, the count earned “Same Old Love” a new peak of #9 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart.

The additional 58,000 sales brought the album’s cumulative total comfortably past the 200,000 mark. Estimates indicate that the album boasted a US sales total of over 235,000 when the October 9-15 tracking week concluded.

Based on tracking for the current October 16-22 sales week, its total may already be flirting with the 300,000 mark.

— In addition to the sales increase, “Same Old Love” enjoyed a 66% gain in weekly US streams (to 6.9 million) and a 33% gain in weekly US radio impressions (to 30 million) during the most recent tracking cycle. The gains fueled a twenty-place rise to #18 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

— “Same Old Love” is the second single from Gomez’ “Revival.” Predecessor “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” has sold over 1.1 million copies to date.
