Sara Bareilles’ “She Used To Be Mine” Enters Hot AC’s Top 40; Sia Sam Smith, P!nk Top 50

Last week, Sara Bareilles’ “She Used To Be Mine” came within striking distance of the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary radio.

This week, it officially enters that portion of the Mediabase airplay chart.

Spun 421 times during the October 4-10 tracking week (+127), “She Used To Be Mine” rises three places to #38 on this week’s listing.

Bareilles’ tune is the week’s only addition to the Top 40. Three songs do, however, make inaugural appearances within the Top 50:

— Sia’s “Alive” rises nine places to #43. It received 264 tracking week spins (+113).

— Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” enters the Top 50 at #45. Up eight places, it received 254 weekly plays (+106).

— P!nk’s “Today’s The Day” claims the last available Top 50 slot. Up six places, it takes #50 on the strength of its 184 weekly spins (+39).
