Leona Lewis’ “Thunder” Enjoys 347% Weekly Sales Gain; US Total Now 12.6K

Benefiting from the interest spike created by the release of her new album “I Am,” Leona Lewis’ “Thunder” posted its best weekly US sales total on record.

According to Nielsen Music, “Thunder” drove 4,565 paid US downloads during the September 11-17 tracking week.

Up 347% from the previous week’s mark, the tally also more than doubles that achieved during its first week of release (2,225).

The additional 4,565 weekly sales brought the song’s cumulative US total to 12,575.

“Thunder” is currently #25 on the US hot adult contemporary airplay chart.
