Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” Soars to #1 on iTunes Sales Chart

Bieber [WDYM | Def Jam]

In the epitome of a predictable occurrence, Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” surged to #1 on the US iTunes single sales chart shortly after premiering Friday morning.

The new single would have surged to #1 even if it lacked quality. The fact that the tropical house-leaning song is receiving strong reviews is only helping matters.

“What Do You Mean?” is the lead single from Bieber’s new album, which is slated for a November 13 release.

He will perform it at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, this coming Wednesday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and as part of a September 10 TODAY Show concert.
