Based on the first four days of the current tracking week (August 23-29), the fifth “1989” single ranks as the #44 song at pop radio and the #34 song at Hot AC.
According to Mediabase, “Wildest Dreams” received 599 spins between August 23-27. That positions the single at #44 on the building pop radio airplay chart.
“Wildest Dreams” will surely continue receiving substantial airplay – and likely continue improving its chart position – during the final three days of the tracking week.
The song also received 254 Hot AC plays during the four days between August 23 and 27. That count, which is up 1109.5% from last week’s mark, positions “Wildest Dreams” at #34 on Mediabase’s building Hot AC airplay chart.
Since the healthy airplay will continue over the tracking week’s final three days, “Wildest Dreams” is a lock to land comfortably within Hot AC’s Top 40.
