Ratings: “CMA Fest: Country’s Night to Rock” Falls 37% This Year (Updated)

Update: Per fast national data, Tuesday’s “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” averaged a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating with 5.19 million viewers from 8-11PM.

The numbers trail those of last year’s broadcast (1.9, 7.27 million) by 37% and 29%, respectively.

While it remains to be seen how Tuesday’s “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” fared among adults 18-49, it suffered a notable decline in the overnight household ratings.

Tuesday’s ABC broadcast scored a 3.3 overnight household rating. Last year’s edition drew a considerably stronger 4.3.

That 4.3 overnight household mark came in conjunction with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and a 7.27 million viewership total.

In terms of the overnights, “CMA Fest” positioned ABC as the night’s #3 network. Depending on the skew, it might improve to #2 in adults 18-49.
