U2, Third Eye Blind, Tori Kelly Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 40

Three songs reach the Top 40 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

U2’s “Song for Someone” is the highest-charting.

Up seven places, the iconic band’s single reaches #35 on this week’s chart. Its new peak position comes courtesy the 397 spins it received during the July 19-25 tracking week (+105>

Third Eye Blind’s “Everything is Easy” also pays an inaugural visit to the Top 40. Spun 298 times this week (+29), it rises five places to #38.

Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us” claims the last available spot on the chart. The song, which is already in the Top 20 at pop radio, grabs Hot AC’s #40 spot on the strength of 270 weekly spins (+31). It was #44 last week.
