Ratings: ABC’s “The Whispers” Rises Despite Slight “Bachelorette” Decline

Last week, ABC’s “The Whispers” proved unable to reap the reward of an improved “The Bachelorette” lead-in. It held at a series low in the adults 18-49 demographic and reached a new bottom in total viewership.

This week, “The Whispers” rose in both columns despite receiving slightly weaker lead-in support from the reality staple.

Per fast national data, Monday’s “The Whispers” drew a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 3.68 million viewers. Both numbers top those of last week’s broadcast, which drew a 0.8 with 3.36 million viewers.

“The Bachelorette,” meanwhile, suffered slight week-over-week declines in both columns.

According to final data, last week’s episode achieved a 2.0 rating with 7.05 million viewers. According to fast national data, this week’s episode managed a 1.9 with 6.96 million viewers.

Despite the decline, “The Bachelorette” still ranked as network television’s top-rated and most-watched Monday program.
