Major Lazer, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull & Chris Brown Enter Pop Radio’s Top 25

In rising from #26 to #17, OMI’s “Cheerleader” did not simply go Top 25 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. It also surged into the Top 20.

It was the only song to make that simultaneous move. Three other songs do, however, enter the walls of the Top 25 for the very first time.

Major Lazer’s “Lean On (featuring DJ Snake & MØ)” is one of the three. It elevates nine places to a new high of #23 on this week’s pop chart. The song received ~3,718 spins during the May 31-June 6 tracking week.

Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph,” which is the follow-up to his chart-topping “Thinking Out Loud,” also rises into the TOp 25 this week. Up five places, it earns #24 on the strength of its ~3,583 weekly spins.

Pitbull’s “Fun (featuring Chris Brown)” grabs the final Top 25 spot. Spun ~3,461 times, it rises three places to a new peak of #25.
