Poised to become a big hit this summer, Chris Janson’s “Buy Me a Boat” is already “Bubbling Under” the Billboard Hot 100.
The infectious tune, which is the country genre’s latest iHeartRadio “On the Verge” track, debuts at #24 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 listing.
The chart lists the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Hot 100.
Its inaugural Bubbling Under appearance comes in conjunction with a return to the Hot Country Songs chart. “Buy Me a Boat,” which debuted at #33 earlier this year after receiving support from Bobby Bones and names like Toby Keith, RaeLynn, Chip Esten and Luke Laird, re-enters the chart at a new peak of #29.
“Boat” also soars to #24 on this week’s Country Digital Songs chart (~13,000 weekly US sales) and #29 on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart (8.275 million audience impressions).
