Twenty One Pilots’ “Tear in My Heart” Again Ranks as Alternative’s Most Added

Irrefutably resonant with alternative radio programmers, Twenty One Pilots’ “Tear in My Heart” ranks as the format’s most added song for a third consecutive week.

According to Mediabase, the single tops this week’s add board thanks to pickups from 12 monitored stations.

Already a Top 20 alternative hit, “Tear in My Heart” claimed last week’s most added distinction on the strength of its 26 monitored pickups. A total of 16 monitored adds thrust it to the top of the previous week’s add board.

“Tear in My Heart” is cut from the duo’s forthcoming “Blurryface.”

Like last week, Mumford & Sons’ “The Wolf” registers as alternative’s second-most added. It won support from 11 monitored stations this week.

X Ambassadors’ “Renegade” (7 adds, 3rd-most added), Wolf Alice’s “Moaning Lisa Smile” (6 adds, 4th-most added) and Panic at the Disco’s “Hallelujah” (5 adds, 5th-most added) also scored solid support this week.
