Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” Goes Top 40 at Pop Radio; Sia, R5 Also Enter

Fetty Wap’s urban and rhythmic smash “Trap Queen” is now a top 40 song at pop radio.

The breakthrough hit, which currently holds the #1 spot at urban radio, the #6 spot at rhythmic radio and the #4 spot on the all-encompassing Hot 100, earns #34 on this week’s official Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up seven places from last week, “Trap Queen” received 1,770 spins during the April 12-18 tracking week.

It is the highest-charting of three additions to the weekly Top 40.

Also officially in the mix is Sia’s “Elastic Heart.” The recipient of 1,127 weekly spins, Sia’s latest single climbs four places to a new peak of #39 on this week’s chart.

Ahead of next week’s Radio Disney Music Awards performance, R5 also scores a spot in the Top 40. Up two places, the group’s “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” earns #40 on the strength of its 1,077 weekly spins.
