Fall Out Boy, Christina Perri, Bon Jovi Score 4X Platinum Awards

Signature Fall Out Boy, Christina Perri and Bon Jovi singles have officially been certified as 4x platinum in the US.

The certifications, which fall under the Recording Industry Association of America’s digital singles program, go to the acts’ respective hits “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” “Jar of Hearts” and Wanted Dead or Alive.”

Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” also received its 3x platinum notation during the month of February. Bon Jovi’s classic “Wanted Dead or Alive” received Gold, 1x, 2x and 3x platinum certifications in addition to its 4x prize.

A 4x platinum certification confirms a unit total in excess of 4 million. A digital single unit is equivalent to a paid download or 100 audio/visual streams.

— In addition to the 4x prize for “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” Fall Out Boy also received a 2x certification for “Centuries.”

— Bon Jovi received a platinum album certification for his “Greatest Hits Ultimate Collection.”
