Hot 100: Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” Leads, Maroon 5’s “Sugar” Hits High

It might not have been showcased at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, but Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” remains the hottest overall song in America. The track enjoys its sixth week atop the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Not simply the hottest overall song, “Uptown Funk” also remains the leader on the key subcharts. It tops Digital Songs (319,000 sales), Streaming Songs (17.9 million), On-Demand Songs (5.4 million plays) and Radio Songs (176 million impressions).

Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” closes the gap but ultimately remains the chart’s #2 song. Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” holds at #3.

Maroon 5’s “Sugar” then rises to a new peak of #4. Taylor Swift’s former multi-week #1 slips to #5.

Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” holds at #6, while Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” (#7), Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One” (#8), Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” (#9) and Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” (#10) complete the top ten.
