Luke Bryan’s “I See You” Holds at #1, Blake Shelton Goes Top 5 at Country Radio

Last week, Luke Bryan’s “I See You” became the sixth of the artist’s six “Crash My Party” singles to reach #1 on the Mediabase country airplay chart.

This week, it repeats as the format’s #1 song.

Set to be officially revealed Sunday evening, Mediabase’s country radio airplay chart will confirm “I See You” as the week’s number one song. It received approximately 8,092 spins during the February 1-7 tracking week*.

Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” (~7,433 spins) and Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” (~7,276 spins) follow at #2 and #3, respectively. Blake Shelton’s “Lonely Tonight (featuring Ashley Monroe)” flies into the top 5 (#4, +2) with approximately 7,001 spins, while Randy Houser’s “Like a Cowboy” holds at #5 on the strength of 6,945 plays.

New to the top ten this week is Chris Young’s “Lonely Eyes.” The track grabs the #10 position on the strength of its ~4,802 weekly spins.

*While this week’s top song was also country radio’s most-played, it is worth noting that Mediabase’s country airplay chart does not rely on pure spins. It instead ranks songs based on a points system that assigns scores to spins from each market.
