Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney Set for Grammys Performance

Over the past few months, two high-profile names had been touted as presumed Grammy performers.

Taylor Swift, one of those names, surprisingly revealed this week that she will not be performing at the February 8 show. Nominated for multiple awards, Swift spent the past year solidifying her status as the biggest name in pop music.

Rihanna, the other name, will be performing. Long expected to perform in support of her forthcoming studio album, the pop superstar was confirmed for the show in a Tuesday press release.

Rihanna will perform new single “FourFiveSeconds” alongside collaborators Kanye West and Paul McCartney.

“Previously announced performers include GRAMMY Award-winning band AC/DC; current nominees and GRAMMY Award winners Tony Bennett with Lady Gaga; nominee Eric Church; nominees and GRAMMY Award winners Common with John Legend; nominee Ariana Grande; nominees Hozier with GRAMMY Award winner Annie Lennox; nominee Jessie J with GRAMMY Award winner Tom Jones; GRAMMY Award winner and nominee Miranda Lambert; GRAMMY Award winners Adam Levine with Gwen Stefani; seven-time GRAMMY Award winner Madonna; nominee Ed Sheeran; nominee Sam Smith; nominee and eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Usher; and nominee and seven-time GRAMMY Award winner Pharrell Williams.”

Neither the Recording Academy nor CBS has officially announced Sia as a performer, but she made the reveal during an episode of “Ellen.”
