Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” Rises on Sales Chart, Hits Pop Radio Peak

While Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” endured its expected setback on the Hot 100 this past week, it is gaining ground on both the iTunes single sales and Mediabase pop radio airplay charts.

As of press time, “Sledgehammer,” which is still benefiting from a potent combination of buzz and its discounted $0.69 price tag, is up to #18 on iTunes’ all-genre chart.

Despite being overtaken by Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz’ “Prayer in C” and Prince Royce’s “Stuck on a Feeling (featuring Snoop Dogg)” this week, the song still managed to improve its position on Mediabase’s official pop radio airplay chart. The recipient of 4,214 pop spins this week, “Sledgehammer” rises one place to #19 on the published weekly airplay chart.

“Sledgehammer” appears on the group’s debut full-length “Reflection,” which now has a February 3 street date.
