Eden xo’s “Too Cool to Dance” Working Towards Pop’s Top 40

One of pop’s ten most-added songs for two consecutive weeks, Eden xo’s “Too Cool to Dance” is beginning to climb the format’s airplay chart.

According to Mediabase, “Dance” received 535 spins to rank as the #50 song during the October 27-November 2 tracking week.

While it is separated from the format’s top forty by more than 700 spins, its prospect of climbing into that group is promising. The song’s week-over-week spin gain of 255 exceeds that achieved by any song within the #41-#50 portion of the airplay chart.

Thanks to support from high-profile markets, “Too Cool to Dance” is performing slightly more impressively from an audience standpoint. Its weekly impression count of 1.91 million ranks as the pop format’s 48th-greatest.
