BANKS Hits #25 at Alternative, Ella Henderson Does So at Hot AC

The effects of the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program are beginning to materialize for songs by BANKS, Ella Henderson and RaeLynn.

Their respective releases “Beggin for Thread,” “Ghost” and “God Made Girls,” which were recently confirmed as “On the Verge” selections, are all climbing within their target genres.

Per the Saturday edition of Mediabase’s airplay chart, “Thread” is now the #25 song at alternative. The song garnered 677 spins during the October 18-24 tracking period, which represents a gain of 154 over last week’s play count. Only Foo Fighters’ “Something from Nothing” is rising at a faster pace.

The recipient of 979 spins during the aforementioned seven day period, Henderson’s “Ghost,” meanwhile, claims the #25 position at hot adult contemporary. Its week-over-week lift of 235 spins is the format’s eighth largest.

Credited with 2,087 spins, RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls” ranks as country radio’s 30th-most-played song. Its total reflects a weekly spin increase of 584, which Mediabase says is the seventh-largest for the country format.
