Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” Leaps Into Top 40 at Country

It has a markedly different tone, but it’s still a Florida Georgia Line song. It should therefore come as no surprise that “Sun Daze,” the follow-up to the duo’s #1 “Dirt,” is already one of the forty most-played songs at country radio.

According to Mediabase, “Sun Daze” commanded 774 spins during the October 18-24 tracking period. That puts it at #39 on the rolling country airplay chart and assures it will claim a Top 40 position when the chart goes official Sunday evening.

Up 520 spins from the prior week’s count, “Sun Daze” is already one of the format’s top ten airplay gainers. It will likely remain a staple of that list as it works towards reaching the peak of the country mountain.
