The ratings picture for MTV’s new comedy “Happyland” continues to get bleaker.
After demonstrating an admirable uptick for its second broadcast, the amusement park-set comedy has endured two consecutive weeks of declines.
Responsible for a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating (rounded up from a 0.16) with 350,000 viewers last week, “Happyland” this week posted a mere 0.1 adults 18-49 (rounded down from a 0.12) with 269,000 viewers.
Troubling at face value, this week’s performance is rendered even worse by virtue of the fact that lead-in “Faking It” saw its numbers improve this week. Airing at 10:30PM, Tuesday’s “Faking It” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating (rounded up from a 0.36) with 713,000 viewers.
Last week’s episode scored a 0.3 rating (rounded down from a 0.31) with 645,000 audience members.
10PM anchor “Awkward” delivered a 0.6 rating (rounded up from a 0.57) with 1.019 million viewers. Like “Faking It,” its numbers bested those posted by last week’s installment.
