Ratings: “The Millers” Performs Worse Than “Big Bang Theory” Re-Run

Based on its lackluster retention last year, “The Millers” was not expected to deliver blockbuster ratings in its Monday debut.

Such expectations must, however, have been better than what it actually drew.

Leading out of a “The Big Bang Theory” episode that drew a 4.6 adults 18-49 rating with 16.02 million viewers, “The Millers” posted a mere 2.1 rating with 8.93 million viewers for its 8:30PM season two premiere.

Indicative of abysmal retention, the performance also considerably trails that delivered by a “Big Bang” re-run last Monday. Said encore broadcast posted a 2.8 with 11.38 million even though its original “Big Bang” lead-in delivered a weaker number than it did this week.

CBS’ Monday lineup also included “Scorpion” (2.4, 10.75 million) and “NCIS: LA” (1.7, 8.78 million).
