Luke Bryan’s “Roller Coaster” Hits #1 at Country

This week’s top song at country radio comes from the country genre’s top star.

After spending last week in the shadow of Cole Swindell’s “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” Luke Bryan’s fifth “Crash My Party” single “Roller Coaster” rises to #1 on the Mediabase country airplay chart.

To be confirmed in Mediabase’s official chart this evening, the #1 position is the product of the song’s 8,053 spins during the September 28 and October 4 tracking period.  The recipient of 58.23 million audience impressions within that window, “Roller Coaster” also commanded the format’s largest audience.

Florida Georgia Line’s “Dirt” rises to the #2 airplay spot this week, while Jason Aldean’s “Burnin’ it Down” claims #3.  Swindell’s “Lonely” and Chase Rice’s “Ready Set Roll” claim the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
