Earlier this week, Vance Joy celebrated the release of his debut studio album “Dream Your Life Away.”
Wednesday, the Australian singer-songwriter works to bring extra exposure to that release courtesy an appearance on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
In addition to aligning with the release of his album, the valuable appearance comes as Vance Joy is working to cross his #1 alternative smash “Riptide” over to mainstream radio formats. While the initial reception has been solid–“Riptide” is already up to #41 at Hot Adult Contemporary radio and was one of this week’s most-added tracks–there is definitely more momentum to be generated and more growth to be had.
Taped Wednesday evening, the singer-songwriter’s performance follows host Seth Meyers’ interviews with Connie Britton (“Nashville”) and Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”).
The broadcast airs at 12:35 AM ET. Photos from the taping–and a video of Vance Joy’s “Riptide” performance–follow:
