Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made his decision. He will star in an upcoming DC comics adaptation as villain Black Adam rather than as hero Shazam.
“‘Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot.’ My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics,” Tweeted Johnson Wednesday morning.
Earlier this summer, news broke that Johnson was still determining whether he wanted to play Shazam or Black Adam in an upcoming film based on the former comic book character.
Recent reports said he was leaning towards playing the villain, and those have now been proven legitimate.
