Thus far, Taylor Swift’s Yahoo! Live Stream is living up to the hype.
Within the first half hour, Swift has already revealed a new single (“Shake it Off”), a new album (“1989”) and the video for the aforementioned lead single.
The video, which features numerous outfit changes, chronicles Swift’s humorous attempts to fit into numerous dance troupes. The message, of course, is that one should have his or her own fun and shake off external judgment.
Sure to make a major splash on YouTube, it will combine with the song’s sure-to-be monstrous first-week digital sales and sure-to-be colossal airplay numbers to put “Shake it Off” in the running for a #1 bow on the Billboard Hot 100.
