Ed Sheeran’s “x” First Week Album Sales on Track for 200K

Analysts have again adjusted their “x” sales forecasts in the positive direction.

According to Hits Daily Double, industry sources are now expecting Ed Sheeran’s sophomore album to move between 190,000 and 210,000 units by the end of its inaugural sales week. It will easily rank as the week’s best-selling album.

After initially pegging the album for a debut in the 175-200,000 range, analysts followed with a 180-200,000 guess. Their latest adjustment reflects optimism that Sheeran truly can cross the 200,000 threshold this week.

“+,” his previous album, scored 42,000 first week sales in the US.
