The third–and final–act to win the United States version of “The X Factor” has finally released its (post-show) debut single.
Folk-pop duo Alex and Sierra, which garnered considerable entertainment buzz en route to winning the show’s third season last fall, officially dropped “Scarecrow” Tuesday morning.
“we kept saying soon……. now soon is here,” Tweeted the act, which shared a link to an official lyric video for the tune. That video is featured below.
With the song, the Alex & Sierra duo hopes to become the first commercially successful “X Factor” winner. While non-winners Fifth Harmony and Emblem3 have made respectable waves in the market, previous victors Melanie Amaro and Tate Stevens failed to take off.
