A&E’s “Bates Motel” Ratings Slip to a New Series Low

Season two of A&E’s “Bates Motel” is evidently not captivating viewers.

After debuting to solid numbers two weeks ago, the well reviewed drama slipped to a series low rating for last week’s broadcast.

It fell even farther this week.

Below 2 million for the first time in its run, “Bates” garnered an average audience of just 1.85 million viewers Monday night. Its 0.7 adults 18-49 rating also represented a series low.

Prior to last week’s 0.9 with 2.21 million viewers, the worst “Bates” performance was a 1.0 rating or 2.30 million viewers.
