Lightning would not strike a third time for “The Voice” contestant Kat Robichaud.
Two weeks ago, she advanced into the Top 12 courtesy a save from coach Cee Lo Green. Last week, she survived an elimination with help from the viewers’ “Instant Save.”
That streak of second chances came to an end Tuesday.
One of the week’s bottom three vote-getters, Robichaud’s fate was once again left in the hands of the American public. This time, however, they opted to save a different contestant.
By using their Instant Save on fellow bottom three and Team Cee Lo member Caroline Pennell, “The Voice”‘s viewers decided the end had come for Kat Robichaud. Austin Jenckes, who also received one of the week’s lowest vote totals, joined Robichaud in packing his bags.
The latest eliminations bring the competition’s pool down to eight. The remaining contestants are as follows:
Team Adam
Will Champlin
Tessanne Chin
James Wolpert
Team Cee Lo
Caroline Pennell
Team Christina
Jacquie Lee
Matthew Schuler
Team Blake
Ray Boudreaux
Cole Vosbury
