Thanks to a disappointing first hour, this week’s edition of WWE RAW suffered an overall ratings decline.
Though its 9-11PM performance was comparable to last week–and its 10PM hour drew a stronger adults 18-49 rating than last week’s counterpart–Monday’s episode attracted a smaller average audience than last week’s show.
Crippled by an 8PM hour that delivered a mere 1.2 rating with 3.743 million viewers, this week’s RAW averaged a 1.4 rating with 4.111 million viewers.
Last week’s episode, which drew a 1.4 and 3.973 million in its opening third, averaged a 1.5 with 4.179 million viewers.
Monday’s show, which served as the “go home” broadcast for Summerslam, was cable’s fourth-highest-rated broadcast among young adult viewers. “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” (2.2 rating), “TI & Tiny” (1.9) and “Marrying the Game” (1.6) all drew stronger from that coveted, ad-friendly deom.
