NBC Renews “Revolution,” “Chicago Fire” For Second Seasons

Though its ratings have greatly declined from their impressive fall levels, “Revolution” remains one of NBC’s top shows–and its best-performing companion for juggernaut “The Voice.”

So, to the surprise of no one, “Revolution” will be back for a second season on NBC.

The Peacock also picked up freshman drama “Chicago Fire” for a second round, news that too became a given once reports emerged that NBC was already looking into a spin-off series.

Other 22-episode renewals for next year include “Grimm,” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Parenthood.”
