Joe Lauzon Earns $100,000 in UFC on FOX Bonuses; Other Winners Revealed

In addition to displaying his submission prowess on a major network broadcast in primetime, Joe Lauzon also earned himself a healthy mountain of money Saturday night.

Lauzon, who defeated Jamie Varner on the main card at UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera, earned $100,000 in “fight night” bonus money, according to UFC President Dana White.

White labeled Lauzon’s successful third-round triangle choke the submission of the night, a prize worth $50,000 in post-show money.
That fast-paced battle with Varner was also deemed the fight of the night, which put $50,000 in Varner’s pocket and brought Lauzon’s bonus total to an impressive $100,000.

Mike “Quick” Swick earned $50,000 for his “knockout of the night” win over DaMarques Johnson.
