No matter how compelling the storyline in principle, there is a limit to how deeply WWE can dive into a storyline like the RAW walkout. After all, it does still have to produce television shows and live events.
In order to assure fans that the house shows will take place this weekend, WWE scripted a “deal” between the disgruntled Superstars and storyline COO Triple H.
“Attention, WWE Universe: WWE Superstars have agreed to participate in WWE live events this weekend, so long as the Chief Operating Officer, Triple H, is not in the building. Triple H has agreed to these terms, and all shows will continue as scheduled.”
WWE also scripted a “condition” to the walkout that will be revealed on Friday’s SmackDown!
