After delivering his buzzworthy RAW promo several weeks ago, CM Punk scored a glowing review from all-time wrestling great Steve Austin.
Austin has now taken to Twitter to praise another former ROH standout–TNA Wrestling performer Samoa Joe.
“WWE should sign @SamoaJoe as soon as his TNA contract is up,” wrote Austin. “One of my favorite workers in today’s game. Needs a full green light push.”
Unfortunately, it might take a while for Austin’s request to be realized. WWE did not sign Joe during his recent contractual availability, and he is reportedly fresh into a renewed deal with the number two US wrestling promotion.
