WWE Wrestler Praised for TLC Performance, Triple H Update, Backstage News

John Morrison scored backstage praise for his performance in the WWE TLC Ladder Match with Sheamus, with few regretting the decision to make Morrison the non-contender.

F4WOnline.com reported on the favorable backstage reaction to Morrison, who has kept his momentum since beginning the feud with Sheamus.

As for his number one contendership, there is some confidence that WWE will stick with the apparent Miz vs. Morrison WWE Championship feud. Since the next pay-per-view features the Royal Rumble match as its key attraction, the feeling is that the show gives WWE the opportunity to try title feuds that might not be surefire draws on their own.

— F4W confirms that there was additional praise for the SmackDown! four-way match, with most accepting that it was better than the two singles matches would have been. The call to turn the match into a four-way was made last week, with Triple H and Vince McMahon reportedly backing the decision.
