Both Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami suffered recent setbacks at the hands of Chael Sonnen, but the two are now within one shot of a crack at Anderson Silva’s UFC Middleweight Championship.
Both fighters had faced Silva before; only Marquardt, however, has received a shot at Silva’s championship inside the Octagon. Saturday’s UFC 122 main-event battle between the two would better distinguish the two and identify the next number one contender for the Middleweight Championship.
