Former WWE Star Turns Down TNA Tryout, Rips Company’s Pay Process

Former WWE Superstar Ken Doane, who most notably participated on the main roster as Kenny and Kenny Dykstra, took to Twitter to announce he had turned down a tryout with TNA Wrestling.

“Nov 8th and 9th i will not be going for my “tryout” in orlando,” explained Doane on Twitter. “No offense to any1 but im not comfortable paying my own flights and working for free. that is all. i dont need a job that bad. if WWE calls i’ll go back or if TNA offers something decent. otherwise im absolutely happy where i am in life.”

TNA Wrestling’s pay policies came under minor scrutiny in the wake of reports that “Jersey Shore” star Jenni “JWoww” Farley received $15,000 for a one-time appearance on iMPACT, and Doane’s complaint does not paint matters in a better picture.
