Thursday’s live episode of “30 Rock” spurred big ratings gains for the critically-acclaimed comedy, but the 8PM hour still fell in the favor of CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” and “$#*! My Dad Says.”
Following an improved “Community” (4.80 million viewers, 2.2 adults 18-49 rating), the “30 Rock” special scored a 3.0 rating with 6.671 million.
While a soild showing for NBC’s 8PM hour, the numbers look less impressive when compared to CBS’ humorous offerings. “Big Bang” garnered a 4.1 with 12.47 million viewers at 8PM, while “Dad” scored a 3.1 with 10.14 million viewers.
Other comedy offerings included NBC’s “The Office” (up to a 3.7 with 7.31 million viewers) and “Outsourced” (2.5 with 5.42 million).
