Rich Franklin Ready For Chuck Liddell; UFC 115 Fighters Make Weight

Though it holds nowhere near the level of personal grudge and intensity that the proposed Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz match did, the replacement bout between Liddell and Rich Franklin is still intriguing from a fight fan’s standpoint. Rich Franklin is certainly beatable by a quality striker, but will the aging Liddell, who had lost four out five prior to his layoff of more than a year, be ready to find those holes? The UFC fight takes place on pay-per-view Saturday.

Also on the show is a bout between veteran Mirko Cro Cop and Pat Barry. The latter, also a former kickboxer, made waves by knocking out Antoni Hardonk at UFC 104, but with only one other UFC fight to his credit (a loss to Tim Hague), will he be able to overcome Cro Cop’s experience?
