Did Michael Bisping Dominate Dan Miller?; UFC 114 Results

Coming off a tough loss to Wanderlei Silva, Michael Bisping had the chance to remain near the top of the heap with a UFC 114 win over Dan Miller.

UFC 114 Weigh-In

Miller, who was coming off a pair of losses to Chael Sonnen and Demian Maia, also had a lot to prove–he definitely has skills, but is he able to realistically threaten some of the Middleweight division’s most dangerous fighters?

The result from UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans follows:

The fight belonged to Michael Bisping. For much of the fight, Bisping simply picked Miller apart with strikes, and while he never had Miller in serious danger, he overwhelmed Miller with crisper, more damaging punches.

Miller tried to get comfortable on his feet (possibly, as Bisping speculated, to create later takedown attempts), but the situation never panned out as desired. Miller finally scored a takedown in round three–when he finally started to offer some threat as a puncher–but Bisping returned to his feet with ease.

Ultimately, the decision fell to “The Count.”

Michael Bisping b. Dan Miller via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
