— This week’s edition of “The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights” posted a 2.2 rating, down from last week’s 2.9. While the decline is steep mathematically, the episode still ranks as the second-highest-rated TUF episode of all time and reflects renewed interest in the series after several seasons of ratings stagnation.
With Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson advertised for the show, next week’s episode is expected to do an even bigger number.

— Going against what was expected, WWE decided to have Rey Mysterio return from suspension on the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. While it had been known that Mysterio’s suspension ended in time for the Hell in a Cell appearance to occur, the feeling had been that, sans the opportunity to feature Mysterio on television for a hard sell, the company would keep him off the show.
Booking Mysterio on the Hell in a Cell card assures that the wrestler will only have missed one pay-per-view payday due to suspension; it seems clear that WWE wants Mysterio to return in a content state of mind.
