WWE.com’s latest release website announcement did not carry the weight of the recent Umaga or Ken Kennedy releases, but it still meant the end of someone’s WWE tenure and a WWE.com best wishes on his future endeavors.
The company announced Thursday that The Brian Kendrick has been released from his contract.
“World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Brian Kendrick as of today, July 30, 2009. WWE wishes Brian the best in all future endeavors,” read the statement.
Kendrick had been in limbo creatively after his most recent push ended. There was talk of starting a feud between Kendrick and Evan Bourne, but that never came to fruition.
the brian kendrick was one of my faves to watch perform. And hearing about his pot use wasn’t really a surprise, he seemed so happy all the time dancing and acting happy. shame he’s gone
If the WWE wants to rid themselves of useless performers I have one name for them to consider next HORNSWAGGLE. He’s boring, predictable, corny, and nott funny. Please dump hornswaggle befor we have to watch him vs Chavo again
