A story that rivals the release of Mr. Kennedy in significance has already emerged. WWE released another well-known, top-tier talent this week.
WWE’s latest release comes just a day after the wrestler in question worked a match on the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. In an announcement Monday, WWE confirmed that it has offered its best wishes on “future endeavors” to Umaga.
“World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Umaga as of today, June 8, 2009. WWE wishes Umaga the best in all future endeavors,” said the WWE.com statement.
