With its premiere just more than a month away, “Entourage” is heating up in the buzz department. Just days after news broke that Zac Efron will make a cameo appearance as himself, THR confirmed three additional guests booked for appearances this season.
Set for the show are Matt Letscher, William Fichtner and Scott Caan. Letscher, of “Eli Stone,” will play Dan Coakley, an arrogant television executive who oversees Drama’s series. “Prison Break” star Fichtner joins as Phil Yagoda, a television producer who tries to remake his hit 1990s series with Drama, while Caan is booked as Scotty Lavin, an insecure, yet overly cocky manager who viewed E as competition.
Gary Cole (reprising his agent role from last season), Kate Mara (as E’s assistant) and Autumn Reeser (as a new agent at Miller-Gold) had previously been tapped to join the cast this season (along with Jami Gertz, Alexis Dziena and Gal Gadot), while Aaron Sorkin, Tom Brady, Lil Wayne and LeBron James (with a few other NBA players) are all set for cameos.
“Entourage” returns for its sixth season on July 12.
