Cardi B Retains Top Solo Female Ranking On Billboard Artist 100

Cardi B spends yet another week as the top female solo artist in America.

Cardi B slips one place to #7 on this week’s Billboard Artist 100, which ranks the top artists in America using data related to chart factors like album sales, song consumption and social media activity.

She nonetheless retains her standing as the highest-ranking female. Since releasing her album “Invasion Of Privacy” earlier this year, Cardi B has earned that distinction far more often than not.

Dua Lipa emerges as this week’s runner-up among solo female artists. She takes #10 on the overall artist chart.

Taylor Swift grabs #3 among solo female artist and #11 among all acts. Camila Cabello is #4 among females and #12 on the overall chart.

Other high-ranking solo female acts include Ariana Grande (#5 female, #21 overall), Nicki Minaj (#6 female, #27 overall), Ella Mai (#7 female, #35 overall), Halsey (#8 female, #38 overall), SZA (#9 female, #42 overall), and P!nk (#10 female, #43 overall).

— The “solo female” distinction is important in this case; CHVRCHES, which is fronted by Lauren Mayberry, takes #24 on this week’s overall chart.
