In recent days, speculation began to emerge regarding a superstar remix of J Balvin & Willy William’s “Mi Gente.”
To say those rumors proved true would be an understatement.
A remix emerged Thursday night, and it features one of the biggest superstars on the planet: Beyonce.
Beyonce formally announced the new release in a series of Instagram posts. One post revealed that her proceeds from the remix will be donated to relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands.
The new remix is already receiving substantial support on Spotify; it was placed atop the service’s “Today’s Top Hits” playlist.
